Welcome to Café Kronhuset
In a quiet square in the oldest part of Gothenburg you will find Café Kronhuset, the Crown House. This lovely 17th-century house has even seen the crowning of a King, Karl Xl. Here you will actually feel like royalty, among roses in the court in the summer and in front of an open fire in the winter. Enjoy a traditional Swedish dish such as gravad lax (marinated salmon served with dill, lemon and either potato or salad) for a lunchtime snack or a hot coffee and pastries of your own choice after exciting shopping in the close vicinity. Welcome to the living history of Gothenburg in olden times!
